Maria Seiler-Huizing
Maria is a native Calgarian who has had a passion for art
since childhood. Her inspiration comes from the beauty of the surrounding
foothills, mountains, and her many travels. She works in acrylic, watercolour
and enjoys sketching her favourite subjects: landscape and figurative.
Along with Education and Fine Art Degrees, she has had the pleasure of taking
workshops from Brent Laycock, David Langevin, John Stuart Pryce, Mike Svob.
She has exhibited with
Artistic Entities, Alberta Flood Rose Project, Udderly Art, and the
Resolution, Motion and Centennial Galleries.
She gives lessons, workshops and is a member and exhibitor
with Calgary Community Painters.
